In our (slightly) bias opinion these are the best computer game soundtracks out there. Take a look below to find your favorite game, or to see if you agree with our picks.

God of War (PlayStation Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Joe Flanagan from 90s Fashion World

God of War Has one of the best Irish sounding soundtracks ever and absolutely one of my top 5. It is done by Bear McCreary. It is full of soul and fantasy.

The Bard’s Tale IV: Barrows Deep

This product was recommended by Joe Flanagan from 90s Fashion World

A super melodic and soulful soundtrack, perfect for roleplaying any fantasy adventure or simply chilling.

Dicey Dungeons (Original Game Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Rafa from Homeschool Spanish Academy

The upbeat, jazzy tunes of this soundtrack mixed with the 8-bit flavor of retro games make this soundtrack great if you want to play board games, drive, or just bounce your head to the rhythm for a few minutes.

Pyre (Original Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Rafa from Homeschool Spanish Academy

The third game from developer Supergiant Games, Pyre’s soundtrack has emotionally intense and peaceful moments alike. It’s a great choice if you feel like sipping on a cup of tea by the fire.

One by C418

This product was recommended by Rafa from Homeschool Spanish Academy

This soundtrack is actually from a documentary that talks about the most sold video game of all time: Minecraft. This album takes a look at the relaxing, well-known game soundtrack from a brand new perspective.

Scott Pilgrim vs. the World: The Game (Original Videogame Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Rafa from Homeschool Spanish Academy

First a visual novel, then a feature film, and now a video game. The soundtrack to this elusive video game is made by none other than Anamanaguchi. This NY band is known for modifying traditional band instrumentation to create 8-bit sounds that have a distinct shape to them.

Baba Yetu [feat. Soweto Gospel Choir]

This product was recommended by Burak Özdemir from OzDemirBurak

Baba Yetu (Our Father in Swahili) is the theme song of the popular PC game Civilization IV. The song was composed by Christopher Tin. It is the first video game song ever that got nominated and won a Grammy Award.

Stardew Valley (Original Game Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Aga Cejrowska from Pulno

Eric Barone (ConcernedApe) overdid himself. The music in Stardew is inspiring, relaxing, calming, and energizing. Ir doesn’t get tiring. What is more! I have used it as my alarm and still love it (and my phone is not broken)

This product was recommended by Rhys Wynne from Streamer Sub Alert

I have a lot of nostalgia with old games, and a lot of the soundtracks I grew up with. Some haven’t stood the test of time, as technology means that soundtracks have on the whole got better. Especially with the Genesis/Mega Drive the sound chip wasn’t greatest, and there were problems with the sounds sounding tinny.

This soundtrack isn’t the case – it’s excellent. Yuzo Koshiro & Motohiro Kawashima for Sega really knew how to get the best out of the soundtrack and this achieves it. It’s bassy, it conveys darkness and grittiness, and has influences on modern music such a grime & dubstep. There’s a reason it was released on Vinyl. And there’s a reason that it’s a must for any video game collector.

Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty

This product was recommended by Sidney Alexander from Digitizd

I have spent quite a bit of time in my career coding games (mostly apps) and some of them slot machine games, the sound engineers behind slot games are very smart guys and are using crazy advanced technology to keep the human brain engaged.

Undertale Soundtrack

This product was recommended by Neil Andrew from PPC Protect

For me, the best computer game soundtrack has to be Undertale. The game itself is amazing, but the soundtrack is what makes it truly special. In fact, it’s the only game I’ve ever bought where I’ve then gone out of my way to specifically buy the soundtrack! It’s a must-have for any gamer. Definitely an iconic soundtrack and a future classic I’m sure.

Streets Of Rage: Perfect Soundtrack

This product was recommended by Adam Lumb from Cashcow

One of the greatest games for SEGA Genesis wouldn’t have been what it was without the music from composer Yuzo Koshiro. He created backing tracks that are perfect for each level using a wide mix of influences and genres. The entire album evokes plenty of nostalgia – while there’s the added bonus of 3 extra tracks which were never used within the game.

Mass Effect / Game (Original Soundtrack)

This product was recommended by Jose Gomez from Evinex

First of all, It’s my favorite game, and the soundtrack is incredible, one of the best OST I’ve heard. And second, it’s great for working or exercising. The rhythm maintains you focused and makes you feel you are full of energy.
